San Antonio
We got back to San Antonio without any problems. I 10 is a good highway with wide shoulders. I like wide shoulders, because sometimes it feels that we are so close to the left edge of the road. We really aren't, but when I think we are close I gasp and that makes Tom nervous and then we both get nervous and..... well you can imagine. We have to stop at a roadside park, take a break and eat cookies and milk to calm down. I wonder if other couples have this problem? Tom is really a very good driver. I know the problem is me.
We were tired, so we waited to put the screens on the coach until the next day. We had to put them up early because it was so hot. The heat on that big window can be unbelievable.
Here we are all settled in again.
We went over to see the grand kids. They jumped and squealed. I guess they missed us. They are the cutest. We have been so blessed..
I have been working on taking pictures for the last two days. I have a nice camera.
It is a point and shoot Cannon. I just need to learn the manual settings, so I can take better pictures in low light. My daughter has a real nice Nikon, but it is too big for me. Tom spend years in the Air Force, as a photojournalist, carrying around a 35mm camera, lenses and lots of accessories. Everywhere we went this big camera bag went. He has had the shoulder replacement to show for it.
I 'll just learn to use my little Cannon point and shoot and my Kodak Play Sport.
Here is a picture I took yesterday while we were walking Rascal. We have several rabbits that live in the brush here at the park.
The man next door said he saw a huge taranchula yesterday. I hope I don't run into him.
La Dolcha Vita for you!
